WEIGHING SYSTEMS FOR GROSS WEIGHT

Weighing scale with free-fall or gravity feeding. Designed for dosing granulated or highly fluid products.

Production rate depends on the product to be packaged (up to 300 bags/hour).

Scale suitable for paper, plastic or plasticised raffia bags.

Bag sizes from:

  • 300mm to 650mm in width.
  • 400mm to 1100mm in length.
For different sizes, consult for special manufacturing.

Operating voltage 380v, 50 Hz.
Electrical consumption 0.5Kw.
Minimum air pressure, 6 bar.
Pneumatic consumption 200 litres per minute.
Operating system using SIEMENS S7-1200 PLC with easily programmable SIEMENS KTP-700 touch screen.
SIEMENS-SIWAREX weighing module.
Utilcell load cells.

‘Monoblock’ construction (integrated electrical cabinet) which allows for considerable time reduction in assembly and subsequent commissioning.
Equipped with dust collection points in the areas most susceptible to dust creation.
The scale has access panels both on the top and side to facilitate the cleaning process.

WEIGHING SYSTEMS

Weighing is carried out with the bag previously hung from the filling spout.
This spout is suspended from three load cells that continuously read the weight and send the information to the weighing module.
The bag is held by a pneumatically operated, electrically activated clamp.

Finishes. Primer and epoxy paint. The scale is supplied with an upper flange that must be fixed to the product feed hopper.

FEEDING SYSTEM

Product feeding is carried out by means of a double gate system, pneumatically operated.
A large section gate begins the weighing process up to approximately 80% of the total, and the other smaller section gate completes the weight, fine-tuning the weighing. Optionally, a small vibrator can be attached to handle the final fine-tuning of the weighing.
Both gates are adjustable.

This feeding system is highly recommended for products that flow easily and do not form lumps or clumps.

Automated production line for animal feed or pet food bags – Enesval

What does this production line consist of? Before anything, I would like to highlight the ease of handling, where a single operator can attend to the entire production line. Moreover, all our installations stand out for their robustness and minimal maintenance. At Enesval – Envasados Especiales Valdemoro, SL, we offer a 24-hour technical service guarantee so our clients do not lose production, and through our after-sales service, you will be in direct contact with the responsible personnel, without intermediaries. Now, let’s talk about what this automated line consists of, which has been adapted to our client’s production needs. It features: – A bag storage unit: responsible for storing empty bags and supplying them to the bag placer. Adjustable to different bag formats. – Bag capture is performed using a vacuum turbine, more advanced than the Venturi, reducing maintenance and avoiding capture problems. – Bag placer: responsible for opening empty bags and placing them on the bagging scale mouth using a mechanical system that stretches and opens them. – Bagging scale: responsible for dosing and filling bags with the desired product, with a precision of up to 50 kg per bag. Can work with gross or net weight. – Robot palletizer with clamping system: responsible for taking full bags and placing them on pallets according to the established pattern. – Palletizing cell: features an automatic pallet loading system, as well as a roller path for the operator to safely remove the pallet once it is complete. With this automation system, we achieve reduced production time, optimized space, and increased product quality and safety.

Bagging and Palletizing of Chemical Products – Enesval

In one of our projects, we have designed and dimensioned, meeting our client’s needs, an automated production line for chemical product bags, where at the end of the line there is a bag palletising robot capable of capturing two bags simultaneously, which it deposits, one by one, in the correct position on the pallet following a previously optimised mosaic design. The operation of this line is as follows: • An automatic bag placing machine captures the bag from its storage, opens it and prepares it for filling. • The chemical products are dosed using a net weight scale and packaged using an automatic bagging machine. • The bags are accompanied at all times so that an automatic sewing machine closes them. This process is very important, as we ensure that the bag stitching is completely straight. • A conveyor belt takes them to the palletising cell. • The bag palletising robot captures two bags at the same time using a special gripper and deposits them one by one on the pallet following the programmed mosaic pattern. In addition, this palletising cell has a pallet storage unit and another for layer sheets, which the palletising robot itself will capture and deposit automatically. • Once the pallet has been fully completed, it is transported by a roller conveyor to our automatic turntable stretch wrapper, where the entire pallet is completely wrapped, securing the load for transport. With this solution, our client has managed to increase productivity, quality and safety in their bagging and palletising process.
