The ENF-15 bag forming and filling machine has been designed to form, fill and close medium and large content bags from a flat polyethylene reel.

It allows for the bagging of a large number of products, both granulated and powdery.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The film from the reel, located at the rear of the packaging machine, is unwound from the reel and brought to the beginning of the forming tube thanks to a system of tensioning rollers.

The lateral centring of the reel is carried out by means of handwheels.
The film tension can be adjusted to compensate for poor winding of the polyethylene or uneven tension at the ends of the reel.

The film is curved around the forming tube to form a polyethylene tube. The longitudinal sealing jaw is hydraulically operated.
The film traction is carried out by two belts mounted on toothed pulleys.

The constant pressure of these belts against the film and forming tube is carried out by means of a mechanism that ensures equivalent pressure on both sides.
This system prevents film breakage and rapid wear of the toothed belts.
The print centring is carried out by detecting the “mark” with an adjustable position photocell.

The machine is synchronised with the dosing system, which can be:

  • Volumetric dosing unit.
  • Auger dosing unit.
  • Electronic weigher.

The electronic control automatically determines the moment of product discharge.

Simultaneously, the belts pull the film until the bottom of the bag descends to the tray-grill that will support the bag.
The two hydraulically operated horizontal sealing devices respect the product fall time.

The sealing system is composed of 2 sealing bars in the middle of which is a blade of the same length. In a single operation, the device will seal the top of the filled bag and the bottom of the new bag, separating them by a cold cut.
The Tecnival can be equipped with a side gusset forming device.
